Our center opened its doors in June of 1996 to provide a safe environment for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. We provide medical material, emotional and spiritual support to local women and families facing the challenge of an unexpected pregnancy.
We know how frightening an unplanned pregnancy can be, and are grateful to partner with so many in the community to offer resources and support to women and couples navigating this journey. Here are just some of the services we provide:
Free Pregnancy Services
Before you can make a decision about your unplanned pregnancy, you need to know you’re actually pregnant. We offer free pregnancy tests to answer the question, “Am I really pregnant.” Our staff is then available to talk through the results and answer any questions women may have about a positive test result.
After a pregnancy test, we also offer free ultrasounds so women can learn even more about their pregnancy. An ultrasound provides important information necessary for making decisions about the pregnancy.
Free Educational Resources
After a positive pregnancy test and ultrasound, a woman has a lot of decisions to make. Is continuing the pregnancy feasible? What help and resources will she need to feel confident doing so? What other options are there? What about adoption?
These are likely questions a woman or the couple has never had to ask and consider, so we offer free pregnancy consultations to help our clients process these and other questions.
In addition to our pregnancy consultations, we also offer educational classes where first-time parents can learn more about the road ahead and how to prepare.
Free Material Resources
For women and couples who choose to continue the pregnancy and parent, we offer material resources to help alleviate the financial burden and responsibility they face. As parents attend our classes, they have the opportunity to earn “points” to spend in our store to acquire the necessary supplies for themselves and their babies.
